The Client: Land O’Lakes is a large company with over 10,000 employees in 50 states and more than 50 countries. They are a co-op with 3,600 direct producer-members, 1000 member-cooperatives, and are a premier agribusiness and food company comprised of crop products, dairy products, feed, and pet products.

The Problem: Land O’Lakes was in the process of merging several businesses into one cohesive organization – Winfield United. They would have new JDE users and users that were not new to JDE but would be participating in an upgrade of JDE. Land O’Lakes needed training content, content deployment, and industry best practices to get all users in Winfield United trained.

The Solution: Land O’Lakes owned Oracle’s User Productivity Kit (UPK) and utilized iLearnERP to uplift 577 UPK topics from 9.0 to 9.2, as well as create 223 new topics. iLearnERP’s expert JDE trainers and UPK developers created a prototype, developed UPK scripts, provided UPK technical support, and created quizzes and user support components to help manage the training initiatives to successful deployment.

The phases for the deployment of training included discovery, the analysis and design phase, development kickoff, the delivery of the prototype and script review, material build, the construction of the individual UPK topics, HTML webpages, knowledge checks, a complete review process, and last, blended delivery, which included the deployment of UPK courses and topics to the Knowledge Center, the coordination of UPK access inside of the JDE applications, and the appropriate print documentation publication.
