The Client: Colas USA is a vertically integrated materials and road construction company comprised of eight subsidiaries operating throughout the continental US and Alaska. Their subsidiaries include Barrett Industries and Sully-Miller Contracting Co. As a leader in infrastructure construction and maintenance they are anchored by traditional delivery methods, but they also extend their expertise into continually innovating in the delivery market.

The Problem: Colas purchased ReportsNow, a premier reporting solution provider to thousands of JD Edwards users throughout the world. ReportsNow’s JD Edwards focused tools replace complex reporting processes with a simple method of creating beautiful, real time reports. With the ReportsNow tool in place, Colas needed an eLearning solution for Colas USA and their eight subsidiaries for ReportsNow DAS to train new team members and keep report designers up to speed. They also needed to take the burden off of their IT help desk for situations where users were stuck on tough reports or data, or trying to create new types of reports for the organization.

The Solution: Colas purchased a subscription with iLearnERP for access to DAS University for their over 250 DAS users. A subscription to DAS University includes unlimited training support with one-on-one access to DAS experts, taking the burden off of IT and other internal DAS users. During 2021, Colas used this service over 35 times in order to take full advantage of their subscription, which also includes access to over 150 tutorials showing the features and functionality of DAS, 10 hours of live webinar training each month, resources including classroom manuals, QRCs, Cheat Sheets, Solution Ideas, and ReportsNow documentation, quizzes to test their learning and a personal learning advisor for training support, completions reporting and guidance.
